Today is July 9th. Monday. I have been reflecting on all that is right around me lately. God says he wants his people to live with abundance. I feel so blessed, and comforted that I must be doing things ok by God. Every day, every word, every thought, is an effort. I try very hard to put God first, and follow him. I have my moments that can be tough. Satan tries hard to get into my thoughts. I find myself having to talk myself out of worry, or feeling rejected at times. I used to let my feelings and thoughts run wild with the things satan would feed me. I am growing through God in this area. All that really matters is what He thinks of me.
In my life today, I am working on keeping my thoughts on what is good, honest and true. Not allowing negativity to seep in. I am also working on how to deal with people that are put in our lives that we can not avoid. When possible we are supposed to suround ourselves with positive people. People that are living by the same value and beleifs that we do. I was told , hard as we may try, we can be influenced by negativity, if we spend too much time around it. What if you can't avoid some people, and their toxic aditudes?
I have had to deal with this head on recently. I am grateful to God for giving me the words. The negativity started rolling. My response was to combat every negative with a positive. Finally stating the obvious. "Every thing you say is so negative." Followed by, "You choose your thoughts, you can dwell on everything nagative. You can wallow in it if you CHOOSE to. Or, you can focus on the blessings. You can choose to be happy, and enjoy your life, or you can soak in misery.
These are some quotes, scriptures that come to mind when I am faced with difficulty or negativity. ~
Life is a series of choices. When God closes one door he opens another. Wait on the Lord. Your Will Lord, and not mine. Being humble and putting others before yourself. What others think of you is none of your buisness. What God thinks of you is all that matters. Knowing where your heart truly is in whatever you do.
